Local technology companies join forces at Smart Nation Expo 2023

The latest instalment of the Smart Nation Expo witnessed numerous memorandum exchanges , signifying the collaborative efforts between key stakeholders in the industry . Among the companies that utilised Smart Nation Expo 2023 as a platform for exchanging memoranda was Singularity Aerotech Asia ( SAT . Asia ), a distinguished engineering services and technology firm .

SAT . Asia boasts a wide-ranging spectrum of capabilities , encompassing aircraft structural design and analysis and expertise in the Internet of Things ( IoT ) and Big Data analytics , serving diverse sectors .

COLLABORATION WITH SPIRIT MALAYSIA

A memorandum of collaboration between SAT . Asia and Spirit AeroSystems Malaysia ( Spirit Malaysia ) was signed during the first day of Smart Nation Expo 2023 to digitalise manufacturing operations in Spirit Malaysia facilities using SAT . Asia ’ s asset tracking product , SM4RT Trace .

The Malaysia Aerospace Industry Association ( MAIA ) witnessed the memorandum signing . This follows a successful pilot project done under MAIA ’ s R & T initiative .

The memorandum was signed by the CEO of SAT . Asia , Hafeiz Murshidie Hassan , and the Senior Manager of Operations of Spirit Malaysia , Abdul Aziz Awang Teh . The Senior Director of Operations and General Manager of Spirit Malaysia , Datuk Zulkarnain Mohamed , and MAIA President Naguib Mohd Nor witnessed the signing ceremony .

Digitalisation and automation are paramount to competitiveness in the global aerospace supply chain . Based on a recent survey , aerospace manufacturing companies globally can benefit from cost savings of around US $ 30 billion yearly should they implement digitalisation strategies and initiatives in their organisation .

SM4RT Trace has been developed to increase productivity and to provide realtime location information and duration on assembly line processes , thus giving vital insights into production efficiency . The production data gathering process is highly automated , requiring minimal human intervention .

THE LAUNCH OF EAASE PLATFORM

Day 1 of the Smart Nation Expo 2023 also witnessed SAT . Asia ’ s strategic alliance with its partners and customers for launching its subscription-based computer numerical control ( CNC ) machine leasing platform , EAASE .

EAASE is a B2B digital platform that unites the distributed network of players in the CNC machine leasing and manufacturing industry , designed to empower all at once . EAASE streamlines the CNC machine leasing process and asset management using IIoT , Big Data analytics platforms and blockchain technology . The platform has been developed in-house by SAT . Asia for 18 months with valuable inputs from various industry players .

THE LAUNCH OF THE TANI EXCHANGE

During the second day of Smart Nation Expo 2023 , SAT . Asia formalised its strategic alliances with partners during the soft launch of Tani Exchange , an agriculture-focused digital business matching platform .

The soft launch of Tani Exchange was accompanied by several MoUs and Letters of Interest

( LoI ) exchanges . Tani Exchange was represented by the Hafeiz Murshidie Hassan and launched by its strategic partner , KoSahabat Chairman , Prof Madya Dr Fakhrul Anwar Zainol , alongside SAT . Asia ’ s strategic partners , Best Sweet Pine ’ s Director ( Operation ), Noor Izwadi Mohd Noor , MKR Hartamas CEO , Khalili Rosly , and the Professor from UniKL BMI , Prof . Dr Kushsairy Abdul Kadir .

Tani Exchange is an online platform that links agricultural producers and buyers within a unified digital marketplace . This platform completes the SAT . Asia ’ s SM4RT TANI ecosystem , where the platform simplifies the commerce of agrofood products whilst prioritising market transparency and data integrity .

SAT . Asia has partnered with KoSahabat and Best Sweet Pine to become the launch customers of Tani Exchange . This strategic collaboration promises to bring efficiency and transparency to agricultural trade , positioning Tani Exchange as a game-changer .

The ceremony proceeded with an MoU exchange between SAT . Asia and MKR Hartamas . The collaboration between two reputable agriculture technology companies will significantly impact the Malaysian agricultural sector , aligning perfectly with the nation ’ s commitment to leveraging technology IR4.0 in the nation ’ s development . The MoU exchange was witnessed by the Deputy General Manager ( Technical ) of Muda Agricultural Development Authority ( MADA ), Nik Kun Nik Man .

Additionally , the LoI exchange between SAT . Asia and UniKL BMI is to establish a symbiotic knowledge-sharing partnership to foster an array of technical experts and advisors . SAT . Asia endeavours to enhance UniKL BMI students ’ learning experience through its internship programmes that will include real-world industrial problem statements , increasing their employability .
