@ green Says …

By the people , for the people

WE observe a growing sense of consciousness as we look at the world around us . ‘ Go green ’ may have started as a trend , but as more people adopt this mantra , corporate leaders and stakeholders are forced to follow suit .

It instils hope … hope that Mother Earth begins to heal . And that when we leave this realm , we leave a better world for our children .
We won ’ t lie . We rely heavily on social media to learn about green-life efforts . Their take is refreshing .
As we make that transition , many non-profit organisations and individuals share what and how to look for information , such as resources and ingredients used in products and services . As consumers get more perceptive , smarter and more mindful , companies inevitably adapt to stay in the game .
This matters , the people ’ s voice … because they are ultimately the most valuable stakeholder in consumerism . We assume that our small step in making environmental-conscious decisions may not carry weight but efforts like these function like a domino effect .
We make a change , and someone takes notice . They enquire to learn , and more people become aware and start making changes . That is how it starts . And before we know it , it becomes a global effort .
It is the little things that we do as a community that , in the end , add up to a mountain . p26-27
