AMADAN is often as much about togetherness as it is about food, and Mardhiyyah Hotel & Suites Shah Alam is embracing both elements with its latest Ramadan dining offering, Destinasi Rasa 3.0. Returning for the 2026 fasting month, the hotel’ s signature iftar buffet promises a generous spread designed for families, friends, and corporate groups looking to break fast in comfort.
Running from Feb 20 to Mar 19, 2026, the buffet will be hosted at the hotel’ s Royale Songket & Tung Yuen Chinese Restaurant, a space designed to accommodate both smaller family groups and larger corporate gatherings. This year, the hotel is bringing together a diverse range of flavours inspired by local traditions, regional influences, and international favourites.
Mardhiyyah Hotel’ s team has thoughtfully curated over 50 menu selections for guest to experience. Rather than focusing solely on novelty, the buffet leans into dishes commonly associated with communal dining during Ramadan, particularly kenduri-style offerings that prioritise bold spices and a variety of choices.
One of the most anticipated highlights making a comeback is the Smoke Hickory Roasted Whole Lamb, a crowd favourite. Not only that, guests can anticipate special buffet highlights such as Thai Papaya Salad( Somtam), Gulai Kambing Batang Pisang Kenduri Kampung, Live Homemade Churros, Thai Boot Noodle, and Seafood on Ice.
Served alongside the highlights are a

range of Malaysian classics, including Nasi Kandar-style pairings with curries such as Kari Ikan Tenggiri and Ikan Merah, as well as richly spiced meat and chicken dishes like Daging Hitam Manis, Ayam Masak Madu and Ayam Goreng Berempah.
Beyond these staples, the buffet introduces a broad assortment of savoury dishes that reflect regional diversity and everyday comfort food. Guests can expect items such as Assam Laksa, Oriental Prawn Mee with condiments, Bubur Lambuk Daging Rusa, Sup Pekat Tulang Kambing Berempah, and Ikan Salmon Panggang Celup Bakar, with homemade bread available to complement heartier soups and gravies.
The buffet also reflects Malaysia’ s diverse food culture by featuring street food favourites. Live stations serve favourites such as satay, fritters, char koey teow and mee mamak, offering familiar flavours often associated with casual late-night meals during Ramadan.
In addition, a wide selection of kawahstyle dishes further anchors the buffet in traditional cooking methods, with highlights including Daging Salai Masak Lemak Bersama Maman and Ikan Patin Sungai Masak Tempoyak Bersama Timun Tua. Aside from that, guests can also indulge in a variety of richer main courses, such as Lamb Shoulder Kuzi, Daging Rendang Tok, and Daging Goreng Minang.
Dessert is treated with equal attention, bringing together both traditional sweets and contemporary crowd-pleasers, ensuring a satisfying end to the iftar experience. Guests can expect serawa durian, Malay kuih, sago gula melaka, and assorted cakes, alongside Belgian waffles, freshly-made churros, and a chocolate fountain that appeals to both children and adults.
Beyond food, Mardhiyyah Hotel & Suites emphasises convenience and accessibility during Ramadan. Guests who wish to perform prayers can do so at Surau Al- Latifah on Level 4, where congregational prayers, including Tarawih, are facilitated, allowing diners to conveniently perform their prayers while dining in one location.
The hotel also offers private function buffet options at RM130.00 nett per person, catering to corporate iftars or family events that require a more exclusive setting.
Aside from that, an early-bird offer at RM 155.00 nett per person is available for guests who make reservations in advance, offering a more cost-effective option for those planning ahead during the busy Ramadan period. Combined with its accessible facilities and range of dining options, Destinasi Rasa 3.0 positions itself as a practical choice for those looking to host or attend iftar gatherings throughout the fasting month.-
