“ On a related note , we are proud to collaborate with strategic partners from local and international prominent brands and media . Hence , MATRADE looks forward to a successful collaboration ahead ,” he added .
“ I am optimistic that Malaysia would see positive growth in trade in 2022 as the country reached RM2.2 trillion in trade value in 2021 , the fastest growth since 1994 .
“ Hence , MIHAS 2022 is breaking new ground beyond traditional halal segments . Malaysia ’ s halal exports in 2021 were mainly driven by food and beverage ( RM17.6 billion ), followed by halal ingredients ( RM13.5 billion ), cosmetics and personal care ( RM2.4 billion ). It is my hope for MIHAS 2022 to achieve its projected total sales target of RM1.9 billion and MATRADE insya-Allah , will expand MIHAS internationally by bringing MIHAS pavilion to participate in other countries ' trade fairs ," Mohd Mustafa concluded ..– Halal Xtra
