This landmark exhibition explores the Malay Archipelago’ s pivotal role as a centre for global maritime trade and intellectual exchange, which facilitated the spread of Islam and shaped a rich cultural and artistic legacy. MASJID Seberang Takir is pleased to announce its Ramadan 2025 programme, featuring a series of religious and community activities aimed at fostering spiritual growth and togetherness. The programme begins with Nisfu Syaaban Night on 16 February 2025( Sunday), followed by the Welcoming Ramadan event on 27 February 2025( Thursday).

Throughout the holy month, the masjid will host:
• Daily Iftar Gatherings: 2 – 30 March 2025
• Taraweeh Prayers: Every night from 1 – 29 March 2025
• Qiyamullail Programme: 20 – 29 March 2025( Last 10 nights of Ramadan)
• Bubur Lambuk Cooking Event: 15 March 2025( Saturday) – In collaboration with Marrybrown

TADARUS @ MASJID PUTRA Date: 1 March 2025 – Until Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony Venue: Masjid Putra, Putrajaya MASJID Putra will be hosting

Tadarus Al-Quran as part of its Ramadan 2025 activities. This daily recitation programme will take place throughout the holy month after Taraweeh prayers, beginning 1 March 2025 and continuing until the Khatam Al- Quran Ceremony. As one of the key mosques in Malaysia’ s mosque tourism initiative, Masjid Putra welcomes both worshippers and visitors to experience its spiritual atmosphere and architectural beauty during Ramadan.

MASJID TUANKU MIZAN ZAINAL ABIDIN, PUTRAJAYA

Date: Throughout Ramadan 1446H / 2025 Venue: Masjid Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin, Putrajaya MASJID Tuanku Mizan Zainal

Abidin will hold a variety of religious and community activities throughout Ramadan, including nightly Tarawih prayers, daily Quran recitation sessions for adults, youth, and children, as well as daily iftar gatherings. Weekday Fikrah Takwa Zuhur lectures will take place at 1.00 PM, while Bicara Fajar, a special Subuh talk, will be held every Saturday at 6.30 AM. A drive-through Zakat Fitrah counter will also be available throughout the month for convenience. In the last ten nights, the masjid will host Iktikaf Ramadan and Solat Tahajjud from 4.00 AM onwards.
Additionally, several special events will take place:
• 11 March 2025 – Erat Ramadan, featuring Bubur Lambuk cooking, Quran Hour, and Santai Ramadan.
• 17 March 2025 – Al-Quran di Hatiku, a special commemoration of Nuzul Al-Quran.
• 22 March 2025 – Salam programme, offering foreign visitors the experience of iftar at the masjid.
• 26 March 2025 – Majlis Khatam Al-Quran Perdana and Kasih Ramadan, which includes the distribution of contributions to asnaf and persons with disabilities( OKU). For the latest updates, follow

RAMADAN ON THE STREET Date: 2, 8, 15, and 22 March 2025 Venue: Bazar Ramadan Jalan TAR, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Kuantan, Pahang and Kuching, Sarawak.
AMADAN on the Street”,

“ Rorganised by Fotografi Jalanan Malaysia( FJM) with the support of Sony, is the first event of its kind, combining the essence of Ramadan with the growing popularity of street photography.

FJM frequently organises Street Outing events to engage photography enthusiasts, particularly those passionate about the street photography genre. These gatherings, typically held on weekends, feature classes, interviews, photo reviews, competitions, and other activities centred around capturing life in public spaces.
For Ramadan 1446H, Ramadan on the Street will take place at Bazar Ramadan Jalan TAR, Kuala Lumpur, on 2 March 2025. The event will then continue on subsequent Saturdays in Penang, Kuantan, and finally, Kuching, Sarawak. Participants will gather at 5.00 PM for a briefing before heading to the designated bazaar. The session will conclude at 8.00 PM, following the iftar( breaking of fast), which is sponsored for all attendees.
