Advancing halal standards

THE Makkah Halal Forum 2025, a premier event in the global halal industry, brought together industry leaders, policymakers, and businesses to discuss the future of halal products and services.

Held in Makkah, the forum served as a vital platform to showcase innovations, sustainable initiatives, and ethical business practices shaping the halal economy.
Among the key participants was Tanmiah Food Company, a leading Saudi halal protein brand and Platinum Sponsor of the event. Saudi poultry sector in strategic global partnerships

SAUDI Arabia’ s poultry industry is witnessing significant expansion through two landmark partnerships aimed at strengthening the Kingdom’ s position in the global Halal market.
Al Watania Poultry, one of the world’ s largest poultry producers, has signed a strategic partnership with Halal Devco, a subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund( PIF).
The agreement was announced at a special event in Jeddah and focuses on expanding Saudi poultry exports while integrating sustainable and innovative practices. This initiative aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, reinforcing the Kingdom’ s role as a key global hub for Halal food.
Mohammed bin Hamad Al Shaya, Acting Chief Executive Officer( CEO) of Al Watania Poultry, highlighted the agreement’ s role in strengthening the company’ s market leadership, stating:“ By prioritising innovation and market needs, we remain committed to delivering high-quality Halal products that support national food security goals.”
Similarly, Tanmiah Food Company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding( MoU) with Brazil’ s Vibra Foods, a leading poultry producer and exporter. The partnership, formalised at the

IN a landmark move for inclusivity, The Mira Hong Kong hosted its first-ever Ramadan Iftar Dinner on Mar 4, 2025.
