THE London Muslim Shopping Festival 2026 concluded on a strong note at ExCeL London with tens of thousands of visitors in attendance. This event established its position as one of Europe’ s largest pre-Ramadan lifestyle events.

Held on Feb 7-8, the festival brought together more than 350 exhibitors across retail, food, travel, and communityfocused sectors.
Designed as a one-stop destination for Ramadan and Eid preparations, the event has grown significantly in scale and scope since its early editions.
Now in its ninth year, it reflects the increasing sophistication of the Muslim lifestyle economy, where consumer demand extends beyond products into experiences, wellness, and cultural engagement.
At the heart of the festival was a large retail bazaar offering a wide range of goods tailored to the upcoming festive season. Visitors explored modest fashion collections, halal-certified food products, fragrances, home décor, and Islamic gifts.
The diversity of exhibitors highlighted the evolving preferences of Muslim consumers, who are seeking both quality and cultural relevance in their purchases.
DIVERSE EXPERIENCES
Food remained a central attraction, with a bustling halal food court featuring international cuisines from street food vendors and artisan producers.
The variety on offer reflected a growing appetite for diverse halal dining experiences, particularly among younger and urban consumers.
A major highlight of the event was the appearance of celebrity chef and author Nadiya Hussain, who hosted a book signing and meet-and-greet session for her latest cookbook“ Rooza”.
Live cooking demonstrations further enhanced this segment, allowing visitors to engage directly with chefs and learn Ramadan-inspired recipes.
Beyond shopping and food, the festival incorporated a range of interactive and experiential features. The‘ Muslim Travel Show’ provided visitors with insights into halal-friendly destinations, Umrah packages and travel deals, supported by tourism partners such as Visit Sarajevo.
