This is because a product with a halal logo is still doubted , especially on Sharia compliance . Each individual cannot do the process of determining the sources of halal ( imported product ).
• Halal warehouse : Not many warehouses have implemented halal logistics in Malaysia yet . The operation uses different tools to handle halal and non-halal goods in the warehouse , which creates doubt for the Muslim community .
CHALLENGES AND IMPROVEMENT
Various challenges are faced by halal logistics implementation that needs urgent attention from multiple stakeholders .
• Significant challenges to implementing a halal logistics supply chain arise as few certified halal logistics providers cater for the halal demand . What ’ s more , on the implementation side where processes and procedures still cannot be standardised among the port operation in the world .
• Not at every port or spot to check on every imported good into Malaysia to verify the halal logo and the content . The practical solution is to check all halal logos printed on imported products in Malaysia . The degree of importance of keeping consumer products safe , not only during the point of consumption but also throughout the supply chain network from the source of material to the final consumer .
• To sustain the business , halal product assurance must apply in Muslim-majority countries . It is a great deed for the 3PL halal service providers to ensure Muslim manufacturers ’ satisfaction and take responsibility for making halal product assurance . The manufacturers must undergo a rigorous assessment process to get the halal assurance products , which reflects the quality of products with the JAKIM halal label .
• A growing number of research have started focusing on halal logistics due to worldwide demand for halal products and services ( Majid et al , 2021 ), where Muslims need to ensure that the preparation of their foods is according to the Islamic rules and principles . Halal practices can become a key to guaranteeing halal food quality that satisfies customers ( Zailani et al ., 2018 ).

The main objective is to look at the possible method of implementation and critical success factors towards the performance of halal logistics operations in daily goods movement in Malaysia
The success of halal logistics does not only lie in a single entity . Support and collaboration between all parties , including halal logistics service providers , halal authorities , governments or government agencies , halal institutes and universities , product or service manufacturers and consumers , are all needed to have a wholesome and successful halal logistics .
The halal industry significantly impacts Malaysian economic growth . As part and parcel of the halal industry , the supply chain is one of the significant segments of halal integrity to rely on . ( Sirajuddin , Osman , Jaafar , & Yusoff , 2016 )
Halal logistics is critical in ensuring that the halal integrity for the Muslim consumer and a certain specified level of segregation is required throughout the supply chain ( Zailani et al ., 2018 ).
These discerning consumers may be willing to pay even more for halal products as long as the producers can adequately ensure that the products are compliant with Halal Sharia principles ( Ahmed , 2019 ).
