MALAYSIAN cosmetics manufacturer TCT Nutraceuticals Sdn Bhd took centre stage at BeautyIstanbul 2025, reinforcing its commitment to the Halal beauty industry while expanding its global reach.

Held from May 8 to 10 at the Tuyap Fair and Congress Centre in Türkiye, the international beauty trade fair drew over 1,200 companies from 60 countries, showcasing more than 15,000 products and 3,000 global brands.
TCT Nutraceuticals was among 19 Malaysian companies featured under the national pavilion, a joint initiative led by the Halal Development Corporation( HDC), an agency under the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry( MITI).
The company’ s participation supported Malaysia’ s BROADER
EFFORTS to establish itself as a global hub for Halal-certified beauty and personal care products— including skincare, haircare, and cosmetics. TCT Nutraceuticals demonstrated its strengths in both OEM( Original Equipment Manufacturer) and ODM( Original Design Manufacturer) services, enabling businesses to develop their own brands without the need for investment in production facilities.
This business model, which TCT has refined over the years, offers a competitive advantage for Malaysian SMEs aiming to enter international markets with

Halal shopping made easy

WITH a growing Muslim consumer base seeking reliable, halal-certified products online, Koperasi Tabung Haji Berhad( KTHB) has launched Haqqi Mall, a new e-commerce platform designed to serve the Muslim lifestyle.
The platform aims to provide a smooth, shariah-compliant shopping experience while promoting trusted halal products and supporting local entrepreneurs.
The launch event at SSF Home Garden in Glenmarie was officiated by KTHB Deputy Chairman Haji Nazif Md Arif. Attending were also Haqqi Mall CEO Nor Helmy Mustapha and representatives from the Halal industry, e-commerce sectors, and digital economy stakeholders.
TRUSTED HALAL ACCESS: The launch of Haqqi Mall brought together Halal industry stakeholders to mark a new chapter in shariah-compliant digital commerce.
The platform is regarded as a timely response to the rising demand for halal-certified goods in an increasingly online consumer market.
“ Haqqi Mall represents the progress of the digital Muslim lifestyle – combining technology, innovation, and Islamic values while supporting the local economy,” said Nazif.
Positioned as Malaysia’ s“ digital Muslim lifestyle brand”, Haqqi Mall functions within a wider halal ecosystem that connects consumers with vendors while promoting integrity and transparency in Halal practices.
One of its notable features is the ability for users to verify Halal certification for each product directly through the platform.
This verification is enabled through collaborations with JAKIM’ s Halal Hub Division and Serunai Commerce, the firm behind Malaysia’ s digital Halal verification technology. For Muslim consumers increasingly attentive to Halal integrity, this feature offers additional confidence.
Beyond convenience and compliance, the platform also aims to empower local small and mediumsized enterprises( SMEs).
Haqqi Mall also acts as a digital gateway for halal entrepreneurs to reach broader markets, utilising technology and logistical support.
Helmy said:“ We are committed to uplifting local brands and creating a trusted digital space for Muslim consumers.”
With nationwide expansion on the horizon, Haqqi Mall is establishing itself as the premier destination for Muslim-friendly online shopping, providing not only products but a digital lifestyle rooted in Islamic principles.-
