Significant international participation Halal Indonesia International Trade Show shines at MIHAS 2023

THE curtains have officially closed on the Malaysia International Halal Showcase ( MIHAS ) 2023 , solidifying its reputation as the world ’ s largest halal exhibition . MIHAS 2023 boasted an impressive array of participants , welcoming companies from Malaysia and across the globe .

The substantial turnout of foreign delegates is a testament to the exceptional branding efforts undertaken by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation ( MATRADE ) over the years , establishing MIHAS as a trusted and unparalleled platform in the halal industry . Numerous companies seized the opportunity at MIHAS 2023 to showcase and promote various offerings , including products , services , and upcoming events .
HALAL INDONESIA INTERNATIONAL TRADE SHOW
Among the notable exhibitors at MIHAS 2023 was the Halal Indonesia International Trade Show ( HIITS ) organiser . Their participation was driven by the upcoming event scheduled from Dec 8 to 10 , 2023 , at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition , BSD City , Tangerang , Indonesia .
Promoting the 3rd edition of HIITS , Project Director Kiki Satrio expressed his pleasure at being invited by MIHAS and his excitement about their upcoming event . He and his team attended MIHAS to promote HIITS , hoping that MIHAS attendees would also consider the halal industry in Indonesia .
“ The most promising halal sectors in Indonesia are food and beverages ( F & B ), modest fashion , and the economic Sharia ,” shared Kiki , saying that they also brought some fashion entrepreneurs to MIHAS 2023 at their booth .”

“ With the world ’ s largest Muslim population of approximately 200 million Muslims , we anticipate that Indonesia will become the global halal hub . Therefore , every country should consider entering the Indonesian market .”
The organisation had previously conducted HIITS , formerly Halal Indonesia Expo ( HIEX ), in 2019 and 2022 , attracting approximately 47,000 visitors . The one coming up in December this year would feature 14 trending topics , including Halal F & B , Halal Travel & Tourism , Halal Beauty & Cosmetic , Halal Pharmaceutical , Herbal , FMCG , Islamic Education & Books , Muslim Fashion & Apparel , Sharia Banking & Finance , Sharia Wedding , Sharia Property , Startup & Tech , Maternity & Baby Product , and Home Appliances & Kitchenware . The team aims to unlock and maximise the potential of the halal industry in Indonesia with the presence of HIITS .
