FROM certification bodies , trade companies , and national pavilions to emerging local brands , the exhibitor line-up at the Saudi International Halal Expo 2024 showcases the diversity and depth of the halal industry .

These exhibitors are united by their commitment to innovation and quality in halal products and services . Notable exhibitors were Jarvis Products Corporation , a USbased company specialising in halal-certified machinery and equipment , and the Economic Families Association from Saudi Arabia , an organisation dedicated to empowering local small-scale businesses .
Jarvis is now setting its sights on a new frontier : halal-certified tools and machinery for the meat industry .
“ The halal industry is vast ,” noted Jarvis Eurasia Director-General Syed Waqar Ahmad . While the halal market is often associated with food products , Jarvis is pioneering the development of halal-certified equipment for use within the industry .
In fact , Jarvis is one of the first in the world to produce machinery specifically designed to meet halal standards .
“ We ’ ve recently achieved remarkable advancements in the de-skinning of carcasses .
“ We aim to develop products that ensure not only low maintenance and affordability but also prioritise hygiene .”
HALAL MACHINERY
This focus on innovation reflects Jarvis ’ commitment to making high-quality machinery accessible to a broader range of markets , including halal-certified facilities .
Although still in the early stages of development , Jarvis has secured approval for some of its halal-compliant tools . While they are proud of this progress , the complete product line-up will require further research and time .
Nevertheless , Jarvis is confident in its potential impact : “ We still have a long way to go and much more to achieve , but we ’ re optimistic about the future .”
In addition to being an official exhibitor at the Saudi International Halal Expo , Jarvis also served as the silver sponsor this year . Jarvis ’ active involvement in the expo provided an excellent opportunity for the company to engage with a broader audience interested in halal-certified equipment .
Through this new venture , Jarvis is not only addressing a market need but also reshaping the meat processing landscape by bridging a gap in halal technology .
“ We have some excellent programmes in
development to make a strong impact across the entire halal industry ,” Syed assured .
Looking ahead , Jarvis envisions expanding its role in the halal sector , particularly within the meat industry , where clean , certified processes are essential .
“ Together with the halal industry , we believe we can achieve significant advancements that benefit everyone ,” Syed concluded .
