LOCATED IN the tranquil Lake Gardens area of central Kuala Lumpur , the Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia ( IAMM ) is an essential destination for anyone interested in art and history . Founded in 1998 , IAMM is dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich cultural heritage of the Islamic world through its everexpanding collection of over 12,000 artefacts .
