Where halal meets the world

• Indonesia is positioning itself as a global halal hub through Halal Indo 2025, supported by strong government backing and international collaborations.
• Halal Indo 2025 showcases innovation and inclusivity, highlighting halal certification, sustainability initiatives, digital transformation, and expanding sectors such as cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and Muslim-friendly tourism.
• The event empowers SMEs and startups by providing export-readiness workshops, B2B matchmaking, and business coaching to help local players enter the international halal market.

INDONESIA is stepping firmly into the global spotlight with Halal Indo 2025, a premier platform designed to showcase innovation, trade, and collaboration within the Halal and Islamic economy.

Organised by Dyandra Promosindo, the event positions itself as a key driver of Indonesia’ s ambition to become a global halal hub by 2025, in line with the government’ s halal product assurance roadmap and initiatives under the Ministry of Industry and the Ministry of Trade.
According to Halal Indo 2025 Head of Marketing Communication Dendi Ahmad, this year’ s edition is more than just an exhibition. It is a convergence point for producers, certifiers, buyers, policymakers, and innovators across continents.
“ Halal Indo 2025 is your gateway to unlock opportunities and be part of Indonesia’ s Halal success story,” said Dendi.
INDONESIA’ S HALAL ROLE
As the world’ s largest Muslim-majority country, Indonesia holds a natural leadership role in the Halal economy. With over 270 million people and a strategic location bridging Asia and the Middle East, the nation is uniquely positioned to shape the regional halal ecosystem.
Halal Indo 2025 reflects this influence by attracting international delegations, creating opportunities for cross-border collaboration, and harmonising halal standards across markets.
For global businesses, Indonesia is not just a consumer base but also an innovation hub with the capacity to produce halalcertified goods and services for the world.
EVENT KEY HIGHLIGHTS
Visitors and exhibitors can look forward to a rich programme that extends beyond traditional exhibitions. One of the main attractions is the Halal Certification Pavilion, led by the Halal Product Assurance Agency( BPJPH), the Indonesian body responsible for halal certification, which aims to strengthen trust and compliance.
The innovation zone will highlight
Dendi Ahmad breakthroughs in Halal food and beverages, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and Muslim-friendly travel. Country pavilions will feature international participation from Kazakhstan, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and several other nations.
The event will also host business-tobusiness( B2B) business matching sessions to connect local Small and Medium-sized Enterprises( SMEs) with global buyers, creating tangible trade opportunities.
Another essential feature is business coaching for Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises( MSMEs) under the Ministry of Industry, which will prepare local players for international expansion.
These highlights underscore the event’ s dual role in elevating Indonesia’ s halal producers while simultaneously opening doors for international stakeholders.
SHAPING HALAL TRENDS
The halal economy is no longer limited to the food sector. Halal Indo 2025 reflects the sector’ s rapid evolution into lifestyle and wellness industries, including cosmetics, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, and tourism. Dedicated zones and conference tracks will cover three pressing trends.
The first is digital transformation, where exhibitors will showcase solutions for halal traceability and supply chain transparency. The second is sustainability, which will focus on eco-friendly packaging and sourcing practices aligned with global expectations. The third is diversification, which will expand halal into lifestyle sectors that resonate with modern Muslim consumers worldwide. By addressing these themes, the event demonstrates that halal is not only about compliance but also about innovation, sustainability, and global competitiveness.
SME GROWTH SUPPORT
A central feature of Halal Indo 2025 is its commitment to empowering small businesses. Exportreadiness workshops, investor pitching sessions, and direct B2B matchmaking are designed to give SMEs and startups the tools to scale globally.
“ Business coaching and B2B sessions are crucial. They help prepare our SMEs to be ready to go global, ensuring meaningful transactions with international buyers,” explains Dendi.
This emphasis ensures that local entrepreneurs are positioned as key players in the global halal supply chain.
BUILDING GLOBAL TRUST
One of the strongest pillars of Halal Indo 2025 is its collaboration with both local and international institutions. Partnership with Indonesia’ s Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Trade, and BPJPH ensure regulatory compliance and credibility at home.
On the global stage, the event works with Organisation of Islamic Cooperation( OIC)-affiliated organisations, international halal standard bodies, and trade agencies to align stakeholders with globally recognised standards.
This integrated approach strengthens trust in halal certification and ensures transparency and consistency in crossborder trade.
FUTURE HALAL VISION
The organisers envision Halal Indo as more than an annual exhibition. The longterm goal is to establish it as the anchor event of the global halal calendar.
Plans are already in motion to expand into regional editions across Indonesian cities and to launch a permanent Halal Indo digital platform for year-round engagement.
By fostering collaboration beyond the exhibition halls, Halal Indo 2025 aims to sustain momentum and drive continuous growth in the halal economy.
Halal Indo 2025 is more than just an event. It is a milestone in Indonesia’ s journey towards becoming a global halal hub.
With strong government backing, international partnerships, and a focus on innovation, sustainability, and inclusivity, the exhibition is set to make a lasting impact on the global halal and Islamic economy.
As its tagline rightly declares, Halal Indo 2025 is“ Where Halal Meets the World.”-
