GITEX Global 2025, the world ' s largest technology and artificial intelligence event, reaffirmed its growing influence on global innovation discussions from Oct 13-17, 2025, at the Dubai World Trade Centre and Dubai Harbour. Marking its 45th edition, the five-day event drew a record number of international participants, bringing together more than 6,800 technology enterprises, 2,000 startups, and 1,200 investors from 180 countries.
The scale of attendance reflected the Middle East ' s expanding role as a convergence point for technology, policy, and capital, particularly in artificial intelligence and data-driven industries.

This year ' s programme centred on translating emerging technologies into practical, large-scale applications. Artificial intelligence dominated discussions, with leaders examining how nations are moving beyond adoption towards building AI-native economies.

Ministers and senior officials from across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America debated governance frameworks, data sovereignty and preparedness for quantum-era risks, signalling a shift from policy reaction to active co-design.
Beyond AI, the exhibition floor reflected the growing convergence of technology with future food, health, and sustainability systems. Breakthroughs in biotech, digital health and data infrastructure were showcased alongside quantum computing and semiconductors, with demonstrations ranging from AI-assisted gene-editing tools to

smart biomarker technologies with potential applications in healthcare and agri-biotech.
Major technology players, including AMD, AWS, Google, Huawei, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, Salesforce, and Snowflake, presented platforms designed to support sovereign AI and large-scale data workloads.

With its shift to a citywide format at Expo City Dubai in December 2026, GITEX Global signals an even greater commitment to driving the future of global technology ecosystems and facilitating innovation-led collaboration worldwide.
