Fun ride through a man’ s sex life

RIDE all you want because according to a recent study, spending long hours on a bicycle will not translate into problems in the bedroom.

According to a recent study by University of California involving cyclist, prolonged pressure at the buttocks and the perineum— the area between the scrotum and anus— will not bring harm to sexual or urinary function.
As there is a raising popularity in cycling for leisure or transportation in Malaysia, there is also a growing concern relating to these activities as question arise whether it could have a harmful effect due to prolonged hours of sitting on the bike saddle or seat.
According to Universiti Malaya Medical Centre medical officer Dr Amirul Amzar, the culture of cycling itself is beneficial in promoting healthy living.
“ Cycling is a form of physical activity that is best suited for everyone. It is the best form of exercise which does not put pressure on the cyclist knee compared to jogging or running.
“ In addition to this, it will not cause any negative

HERE isn’ t any men who wished his penis were an inch or two longer. With lots of supposed options out there with modest benefits yet serious side effects such as erectile dysfunction, it still doesn’ t stop size-obsessed men from trying very sketchy treatments on a vital part of their anatomy while risking a lot in the process.
According to UITM Private Specialist Centre consultant Plastic & Aesthetic surgeon Dr Wan Syazli Rodzaian Wan Ahmad Kamal, the lengthening procedure or male to female change is not allowed by the authorities.
“ Although the regulation of the procedure is still very loose, there are still a lot of men especially foreign workers from Bangladesh, Myanmar and Nepal who request to— increase the girth but not the length— by injecting silicone around it to make it thick.”
“ This causes a lot of complication – the silicone seeps through, goes underneath the skin and causes Penile Siliconoma that we have to remove the whole skin and do a skin graft.
“ As for lengthening the penis, it is very rare and not commonly done – not in Malaysia,” he explained.
With this in mind, the question still remains is genital enhancement really the key to better sex and self-confidence?
Is bigger really better?
Taylor’ s University Clinical School, School of Medicine associate professor in Psychiatry Dr Xavier Vincent Pereira pointed out that the perception of penis size— the notion that‘ the bigger the better’— is not necessarily true.
“ According to research, an average penis is five to six inches. Recent studies also show that the width gives more pleasure than the length. However, one should not place priority on sexual intercourse alone.”
“ There is sexual outercourse- where sex happens without intercourse which can be very satisfying. Arousal plays a very big role too.”
“ Nevertheless, sexual satisfaction with a partner depends on the quality of the relationship.”
He then cited the three elements in the‘ Triangular Theory of Love’ by Robert Sternberg- intimacy, passion and commitment, which Xavier said makes a good healthy relationship.

Social drinkers to face darker days

THERE is a debate as to what constitutes social drinking, whether it involves individuals who regularly go to the bar and drink heavily or does it just mean that you are not exhibiting the classic signs of alcoholism.
If you perceive that your body is not facing any issue as long as you are not an alcoholic or a binge drinker, you are wrong!
You might just be at risk of developing long-term health issues. That is where you are wrong. Social drinkers are unaware that consuming more than 14 units of alcohol— equivalent to 10 small glasses of lowstrength wine— in a week will lead to a broad range of health problem including cancer.
According to Malaysian Dietitian Association dietitian Philips Lee, it doesn’ t matter if a person is a social or a
binge drinker as they are already putting their life at risk.
“ There is no lowest recommendation for drinking alcohol. As long as you start to drink, the risk is already there.”
“ If you still want to drink, the most you can go for is less than 14 units a week. For instance one can of beer is equivalent to two to three units.”
“ It is advisable to avoid from meeting

the recommended amount in a week,” he said. What can you do?
Avoid drinking regularly and better still try to have an alcohol-free day each week.
Since your body might suffer from setbacks— depending on how much you normally drink— it is advisable that you slowly reduce the alcohol consumption.
