ECENTLY as I helped myself to a R coin operated laundry machine , there came a frail looking woman with dishevelled hair and soiled clothes reeking of urine . One could say that she hasn ’ t showered in weeks nor eaten a proper meal for the day . As she sat on the bench , people in the surrounding stared and some eye-balled as they started to remove their belongings while some pulled away their children . So are human beings with an inbuilt nature to fear the unknown . Her eyes looked lost and empty and didn ’ t look like she had any strength left in her to harm anyone , so I took the opportunity to buy her a decent meal from a shop nearby . Like all of us sane human beings , I reckoned that she needed care too as she looked like she was suffering from some form of mental disorder which may have started from a psychological – physical abuse . With her in mind , I dedicate this issue to all my readers with the hope that it enlightens your knowledge on the various forms of mental disorder that you too would assist an ailing fellow human being if one should cross your path .
