It was reported recently that Australia ’ s Therapeutic Goods Administration ( TGA ) lifted its restriction on Ivermectin based on sufficient evidence that the safety risks to individuals and public health is low when prescribed by a general practitioner in the current health climate .

However , the TGA maintained its stance on not endorsing off-label prescribing of Ivermectin to treat or prevent Covid-19 .

INTEGRATIVE OR HOLISTIC MEDICINE

Doctors worldwide advocating for alternative medicine and treatments , such as Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine , were faced with the fear of retaliation , licence suspension and persecution .

“ This is a completely unacceptable violation of the doctor-patient relationship and the ethical tenets of informed patient consent ,” said Dr Vijaendreh .

“ The Nuremberg Code binds all doctors , but it appears that through mass media hysteria , the medical profession was pummelled into carrying out the bidding of the vaccine industry in offering a vaccine-only policy to end the Covid-19 crisis ,” he claimed .

He said that in doing so , doctors were prevented , then vilified for acting with their conscience in offering known effective treatments for Covid-19 .

“ It is also to be noted that the Emergency Use Authorisation given to the very rushed and inadequately researched Covid vaccines would not have been possible if effective alternative treatments had been acknowledged .”

A South African doctor from Fort Edward , Dr Shankara Shetty , who figured out the biphasic nature of the Covid-19 infection and effectively treated thousands of patients without hospitalisations , is a case in point , shared Dr Vijaendreh .

THE MALAYSIAN Alliance for Effective Covid Control ( MAECC ) said a recent study on the use of Vitamin C in Covid-19 by Chia Siang Kow , Syed Shahzad Hasan and Dinesh Sangarran Ramachandram from our local universities is world-class and made the nation proud .

The study - Chia et al . ( 2023 ), The effect of Vitamin C ( Vit C ) on the risk of mortality in patients with Covid-19 : a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomised controlled trials , was published in Inflammopharmacology on Apr 18 , 2023 .

In a Press statement on May 2 , it said Chia and colleagues examined 11 randomised controlled trials ( RCTs ) that were conducted in different countries where Vit C was given at varying ( usually high ) doses to Covid-19 patients , compared to no Vit C .

The study found “ significant mortality benefits ” when Vitamin C was used , especially for patients with severe forms of the disease . Although Chia and colleagues recommended further studies with large sample sizes to confirm their study , their positive conclusion regarding Vitamin C counters the mainstream media claim that there is no evidence the vitamin is effective . Systematic review and meta-analysis of RCTs are the gold standard in clinical studies and occupy the top level in the pyramid of evidencebased medicine .

LARGE-SCALE RETROSPECTIVE STUDY

It said if the study by Chia et al . ( 2023 ) does not open eyes , another recent study that has serious ramifications should . The prestigious Cleveland Clinic in the US recently published a study that made a shocking revelation regarding Covid-19 infection among those who took the Covid-19 vaccine shots and those who did not .

The study , Shrestha et al . ( 2023 ), Effectiveness of the coronavirus disease 2019 ( Covid-19 ) bivalent vaccine , MedRxiv , Dec 19 , 2022 , is a large-scale retrospective study involving a cohort of 51,011 clinic employees .

Although the purpose of the study was to evaluate whether a bivalent Covid-19 vaccine protected against the disease , it also made comparisons among those who received one shot , two shots , three shots , more than three shots and those who did not receive any shot from the time the Covid vaccination programme was introduced to when one was infected .

The study result clearly showed “ the higher the number of vaccines previously received , the higher the risk of contracting Covid-19 ”.

The published paper by Shrestha et al . ( 2023 ) also provided the adjusted hazard ratio ( HR ) as such : one vaccine dose = HR 1.7 ( which means one is 1.7 times more likely to be infected compared to an unvaccinated person ); two vaccine doses = HR 2.63 ; three vaccine doses = HR 3.15 ; more than three vaccine doses = HR 3.38 .

NEED FOR PAUSE ON VACCINE MANDATE

The results of the Cleveland Clinic study corroborate to a large extent the findings by Cao et al . ( 2022 ) that immune imprinting from continuous vaccine shots could lead to viral evolution , mutate , elude antibodies , and transmit easily . Hence , more vaccine shots mean a higher risk of infection .

MAECC said the studies mentioned above and their findings , along with what was mentioned in its media release on Feb 1 , 2023 , concerning excess deaths concerning Covid-19 vaccines , should instigate a re-think of Covid management strategies .

It said it had issued numerous media releases over the past three years on various topics regarding Covid-19 on Ivermectin , Hydroxychloroquine , Vitamin C , the need for a pause on vaccine mandate until safety issues have been addressed , antibodies dependent enhancement , vaccine escape , etc .

“ Hindsight through scientific reports and world data have shown we were correct .

“ It is not too late , and we implore those in the establishment to re-strategise in combating Covid-19 . We also humbly request that all legal actions and investigations against medical doctors for alleged infringement concerning Covid and Ivermectin issues be dropped .

“ The latest scientific revelation calls for consolidating all our mental and physical capabilities . MAECC truly cares for the health of our people and nation ,” it said .
