or the love of all that is good and righteous, why do we have
to suffer being on the same planet as the tiny terrorists of
disease known as the Aedes Aegypti mosquitoes? As far
as my ample general knowledge goes, these particular species
of disease-bringers do not contribute to the natural ecosystem
whatsoever.
Other mosquitoes, the ones living in the forest and only feeds
on animal blood actually play an important role in nature as food
for fish and other insects as well as being pollinators for plants. But
what does the Aedes mosquito do? They spread along dengue, zika,
and chikungunya to the world.
The tremendous spike in dengue cases this year should be a
monumental sign that we need to be more proactive in preventing
