AHEAD of the official launch of ACUVUE ® OASYS MAX 1-Day and ACUVUE ® OASYS MAX 1-Day Multifocal, Vision at Johnson & Johnson( Vision, J & J) brought together leading optometrists and eye care professionals( ECPs) for an exclusive Key Opinion Leaders( KOL) Advisory Board held on 2 April 2026 at Pinnacle Sunway J & J.
As part of the closed-door session, participants received the new lenses one month in advance, allowing them to wear the products in their everyday lives before sharing candid feedback.
The advisory board aimed to gather real-world experiences and expert opinions to help validate the product ' s performance and ensure it addresses the needs of today ' s contact lens wearers before its market launch.

LENS THAT EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS
HAVING experienced the lenses firsthand, Eyecon Optometry Network Senior Optometrist and Chief Executive Officer Datuk Dr Murphy Chan described the initial comfort as one of the product ' s biggest strengths. He noted that the lenses felt almost unnoticeable from the moment they were inserted, an important advantage particularly for new contact lens wearers.
Beyond comfort, Murphy found that the lenses provided stable vision during prolonged screen use and noticeably reduced glare while driving at night.
With digital devices now part of everyday life, he believes the combination of moisture retention, visual clarity and light-filtering technology makes the lenses highly relevant for modern wearers.
In his view, the product is ready for launch, with education on its features being key to helping more patients understand its benefits.
ANNA Eyecare Optometry Founder and Optometrist Anna Bong admitted she always looks forward to trying new ACUVUE ® products, but ACUVUE ® OASYS MAX 1-Day still managed to surpass her expectations. During her trial period, she found the lenses so comfortable that she occasionally forgot she was wearing them after a full day.
She was particularly impressed by the TearStable™ Technology, which maintained comfort even after nights of poor sleep. Anna believes the multifocal version will be especially valuable for active presbyopic patients who want to remain glasses-free during social activities, exercise and everyday tasks.
