Making agriculture great again

INO Nature will not rest until the future is sustainable
BY ADELINE ANTHONY ALPHONSO

IN the evolving landscape of agriculture , 2024 presents promising market opportunities and significant challenges for companies like INO Nature .

With over 17 years of experience in the agriculture business , INO Nature is navigating these dynamics and actively shaping sustainable agriculture ’ s future through innovation , collaboration , and a steadfast commitment to quality .
According to INO Nature CEO Liew Chee Wah , agriculture is an industry that never stops .
“ Whether you like it or not , people still need plants . And they need food on the table . Agricultural produce is the basis that holds it all .
“ By focusing on critical crops like chilli , ginger , and onion , there ’ s potential for surplus and growth in the market .
“ However , with increasing competition with new players entering the market , there is the need to educate farmers about the quality and authenticity of fertilisers amidst claims and confusion in the market ,” said Liew .
QUALITY OVER CONTROL
In response to emerging consumer preferences , INO Nature prioritises quality and cost-effectiveness in its product development and marketing efforts .
They ensure genuine and high-quality raw materials while creating fertilisers that contain balanced nutrients , allowing farmers to use less and achieve better results .
Liew added : “ By offering a product that enhances both quality and costefficiency , we aim to meet the evolving demands of consumers and support farmers in maximising their yields .
“ We want to provide the farmers with what they deserve essentially .”
Liew revealed that this concern comes from recent claims regarding fertiliser originality , which have further compounded this challenge , contributing to farmer confusion amid many choices .
INO Nature focuses on developing Bio Semi-Organic fertilisers incorporating chemical , organic and microbial components to improve soil health and crop yields .
“ It has been proven in one of the farms in Shah Alam , that we can reduce total input by 50 per cent , plant has stronger resistance towards diseases , higher yield , and produce better quality ,” he shared .
INO Nature has pionereed Bio Semi- Organic technology in fertiliser market .
MANAGING SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE WITH PARTNERSHIPS
INO Nature ’ s most notable partnership
comes from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman , Kampar ( UTAR ), where they research sustainable agriculture .
They focus on developing fertilisers incorporating organic and microbial components to improve soil health and crop yields .
Through ongoing research , they have identified beneficial microbes that can enhance additional nutrients and combat common pests and diseases , contributing to sustainable agricultural practices .
Liew is proud to add that they have found over 40 microbes thus far with the research .
“ While research is ongoing , we are certain these microbes can help fight a disease like bagworm , which causes defoliation .”

products , transforming traditional chemical agriculture into a more sustainable , bio-semiorganic approach .
“ It has been proven in one of the farms in Shah Alam that we can reduce total input by 50 per cent ,” he says .
Additionally , INO Nature works with Jabatan Pertanian to develop new farming technologies , such as prolonging planting cycles from six months to beyond and enhancing harvesting methods , to increase efficiency and reduce the environmental impact on chilli farming .
THE ROAD TO SAVING THE MOTHERLAND SOIL
Regarding goals for 2024 , INO Nature aims to expand its influence in the agriculture industry by promoting the adoption of Bio Semi-Organic agriculture practices .
Liew hopes to educate farmers and stakeholders about the benefits of sustainable agriculture for soil health and food quality .
“ We are not saying chemicals are harmful . We are just saying there should be another way , a balanced one preferably .
“ Ask yourself this : how can we help release good soil and continue planting in the same land for decades ?” he concluded .
INO Nature believes in protecting the motherland soil by encouraging widespread adoption of these practices as they hope to impact the industry and significantly contribute to longterm environmental sustainability . – @ AGROBiz
