Powered through sustainability
Tenaga Nasional Berhad strengthens its

WE stand still . We observe . We pass remarks and hold others accountable when the “ green world ” we want to create for our future generation is compromised . But we continue to stand still . Have we not failed ? Green and environmental efforts start from home , a value that should be taught and embedded from a young age . But we haven ’ t yet entirely done our part within our homes and small communities . We do not make conscious efforts to teach these values .

Sometimes , something as simple as discarding trash seems daunting for some adults . Look around your communities , and observe the rubbish scattered on the ground , in the bodies of water surrounding us . It is in the simplest things that we have failed .
It doesn ’ t take a lot . Recycling and proper trash disposal , using our natural resources mindfully , using reusable containers , planting more plants or trees , and carpooling have been around for ages . It ’ s simple , achievable , and will make Mother Earth a little happier .
So , where do we go from here ? As the new year waits right around the corner , let us reflect and ask ourselves : What can we do to make our world a little greener , a little cleaner , and our resources a little more sustainable ?
