AS halal standards continue to evolve
across global markets, the need for
reliable certification and compliance
systems is becoming increasingly
important for businesses seeking to
expand beyond their borders.
For Indonesia ' s Lembaga Pengkajian
Pangan, Obat-obatan dan Kosmetika
( LPPOM), Grand Halal Bangkok 2026
provided an opportunity to showcase
the country ' s expertise in halal assurance
while strengthening ties with industry
players across the region.
With over 30 years of experience,
LPPOM provides inspection, testing,
training, and consultancy to help
businesses achieve and maintain halal
compliance.
Marketing and Networking Officer
Akbar Pratomo said Thailand ' s strategic
position as a regional halal hub made
Grand Halal Bangkok an ideal platform
to engage with industry stakeholders
and expand cross-border cooperation.
" We aim to strengthen collaboration,
connect with stakeholders, and support
businesses accessing Indonesia’ s halal
market," he said.
He noted that new mandatory halal
certification requirements in Indonesia
highlight the need for robust assurance
systems.
LPPOM will continue expanding
partnerships and digital services to help
businesses meet global standards.
