brands follow market trends Four of Malaysia ’ s top hijab brands have made their way to continuously serve trending products , expanding lines of modest fashion

The most evident change Covid-19 has brought to the world is how people run their business . The common trend would be moving operations from physical stores to online stores .
Apart from a change in operational techniques , most brands saw the opportunity to nurture their business by offering speciality products . The closest example would be our local hijab brands .
A few of Malaysia ’ s favourite hijab brands , such as The dUCk Group , Tudung People , Galeri Ariani and Naelofar , have brought new collections to the table . Knowing how much customers crave new things , these hijab brands made a wise move to keep the interest of their clienteles running .
Since early February 2021 , all four brands have continued to excite the hijabis and non-hijabis by introducing new product variations . Here is a highlight of each brand ’ s product expansion .

THE DUCK GROUP
The dUCk Group , founded by famous blogger cum entrepreneur Vivy Yusof , launched its first line of scarves in May 2014 , aiming to convey that wearing scarves should be a celebrated act among Muslim women . The dUCk brand , which revolves around a character named D , rose quickly in its popularity across the world . Ever since then , dUCk scarves expanded to become The dUCk Group .
Today , the company comprises five main product lines – scarves , cosmetics , stationeries , bags , and home & living products . Adding a tinge of class to its product design , its dUCk collections really know how to play around with vibrant colours and come up with in-demand products . Some of the newly-released products of The dUCk Group includes a new face mask design and lanyards . No doubt , face masks have become a part of fashionwear . Adding to its face mask collection , the Textured Face Mask was released in February 2021 – a textured design with an elastic head-loop .
On Mar 6 , 2021 , the brand returned with its lanyards debossed with its signature dUCk monogram in nine different colours . Referring to its official Instagram , the lanyards were introduced to kick in the ‘ back to office ’ vibes .
