THE halal industry in Indonesia is driving significant economic momentum for the nation. Accordingly, the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia is actively backing initiatives to position the country as a key global player in the halal industry. This support has led to the Halal Indonesia International Industry Expo( Halal Indo) 2025. Organised by Dyandara Promosindo, the event was held from Sep 25 to 28, 2025, at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition( ICE) BSD City in Tangerang.
The event welcomed over 25,000 visitors throughout its four-day duration, well above its initial target of 15,000. More than 300 exhibitors participated, showcasing their products and services across key halal sectors: Food & Beverages, Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals, Fashion, Textile & Apparel, Beauty & Lifestyle, as well as Education, Tourism & Hospitality.

Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, the Philippines, Türkiye, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, South Korea, Albania, India, and Jordan. Its growing global impact was also evident in its exhibitor lineup, which featured participants from 11 countries.
EDUCATIONAL AND COMMERCIAL
“ Halal Indo 2025 is not just an exhibition. It’ s a collaborative platform for exchanging ideas and business opportunities that will help strengthen Indonesia’ s halal ecosystem and elevate it to the global stage,” asserted Dyandara Promosindo President Daswar Marpaung.
Additionally, Halal Indo 2025 also served as a crucial hub for knowledge exchange within the industry. One key highlight was the Halal Connect Forum, a dedicated talk series for industry players. Among its sessions was‘ Want to Export Without Getting Lost? Here’ s Your GPS!’ The session focused on export tips and strategies for local businesses eyeing global expansion.
Its featured speakers were Export Expert Indonesia Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer( COO) Raymond Syamsudin, and Riset Pasar Ekspor Founder and Chief Executive Officer( CEO) Fikry Aljoeffy.
Meanwhile, a session called‘ Halal Tourism Unveiled: A New Era of Travel’ explored the evolution of halal tourism. It featured insights from Serumpun Travel Executive Director Rizal Agustin, Hanania Group Marketing Director Rio Bella Marchal, and Vero Executive Account Director Diah Andrini Dewi.
