Celebrating modest elegance
• IN2MOTIONFEST 2025 is Indonesia ' s largest platform for modest fashion,
emphasising its role as a global leader in modest fashion.
• Collections showcased Indonesia ' s textile traditions, such as batik and songket,
reinterpreted with modern designs and sustainable materials.
• Over 20 fashion shows showcased 1,785 looks from 214 designers, including
international participants from Thailand, Turkey, and Italy.
INDONESIA has once again positioned itself at the heart of the global modest fashion movement through the Indonesia International Modest Fashion Festival( IN2MOTIONFEST) 2025, the country’ s largest and most influential platform for modest wear.
Now in its fourth edition, IN2MOTION- FEST 2025 was held from Oct 8 – 12, 2025, in Jakarta as part of the Indonesia Sharia Economic Festival( ISEF), the nation’ s largest annual sharia economy and finance event.
This year’ s theme,“ One Vision, One Movement: Advancing Indonesia Modest Fashion Through Synergy & Collaboration”, resonated as both a call to unity and a declaration of Indonesia’ s growing influence in the global modest fashion industry.
The festival was officially opened by Bank Indonesia Governor Perry Warjiyo, who emphasised the power of collaboration in shaping Indonesia ' s future as the world ' s leading modest fashion hub.
“ Alhamdulillah, Indonesia is the largest modest fashion country in the world,” he said.“ Through IN2MOTIONFEST, we realise one vision, to maintain Indonesia as the biggest modest fashion country.”
COLLECTIVE VISION FOR GLOBAL RECOGNITION
More than a fashion event, IN2MOTION- FEST serves as a movement of cultural pride and economic empowerment. The festival united key government bodies, local and international designers, artisans, and creative communities under a shared mission to showcase Indonesia’ s rich textile heritage and contemporary creativity to the world.
Through collaboration between Bank Indonesia, the Indonesian Fashion Chamber( IFC), and other government institutions, the festival highlighted the role of modest fashion as a new economic driver, bridging traditional craftsmanship and global sustainability trends.
WEAVING HERITAGE INTO SUSTAINABILITY
This year’ s collections celebrated Indonesia’ s centuries-old textile traditions: batik, songket, ikat, lurik, tapis, sasirangan, jumputan, embroidery, knitting, and ecoprint fabrics, reinterpreted through modern silhouettes and sustainable materials.
Besides showcasing collections from leading Indonesian designers and brands such as Dian Pelangi, Ayu Dyah Andari, DINI by Dhini Aminarti, KHANAAN, Hannie Hananto, Si. Se.
