Halal International Selangor ( HIS ) makes halal capacity development its top priority during the pandemic by organising online training

COVID-19 impacted all sectors , and the halal industry was not spared from it . As an agency mandated by the Selangor government to spearhead the State ’ s halal initiatives , Halal International Selangor ( HIS ), through HIS Toyyiba Sdn Bhd , remained resilient throughout the pandemic .

Focusing on halal capacity development , the entity conducted its activities online and continued to serve its purpose . From 2020 up to this date , HIS has organised various training , be they in-house or general ones .
