Despite increasing requests to set up day care centres in government organisations, young mothers would still be constantly plagued with the need to constantly watch over their babies. B studios may not hold the answer to every problem raised by these mothers but they certainly provide a safe space and allow these mothers and their kids to bond through fitness. As young mothers and fitness junkies themselves, all three found themselves at a roadblock when they found it difficult to work out while their babies were at home. Lawyer turned certified trainer, Nadia, found herself in a position of conflict where she felt the time used to train in the gym could have been used to coddle her baby at home. “The guilt was there, I couldn’t leave my baby at home doing something else while I could have used that time being with him,” she said.
