“ Since 30 to 35 years ago , for example , when we started our fume hood , it has come a long way . It meets all international standards for safety . All our products are also certified with manufacturers ’ certificates and third-party certificates .

“ For example , if there is a tender to supply fume wood , and if our price is 10 to 15 per cent higher than the imported ones , the government will award the tender to us and support our product .”

Quality speaks for itself

Industrial cities like Dammam , Jeddah and Riyadh have excellent infrastructure , and this complements the investment atmosphere in Saudi Arabia .

“ We are part of this process where we are developing ourselves , and the government is also developing with us . So it is a mutual understanding and mutual development for the local industry .

Currently , MFF ’ s biggest clientele comes from within Saudi Arabia . They have exported products to Bahrain , Dubai , Qatar and Jordan . The company has also expanded its market in Egypt , Jordan , Iraq and Africa . Shadman Rashid said he looks forward to expanding production to new markets in neighbouring countries .

Apart from having some of its products made in Malaysia , MFF also collaborates with three Malaysian suppliers , who supply it with most of its fixtures , trespa and rubber tiles for their playground equipment . All the companies are registered with Saudi Aramco . – The Health
